Welcome to Little Apple Quilts. By submitting your quilt top, making a booking, or using our quilting services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before proceeding.
1. Service Overview

Little Apple Quilts provides experienced longarm quilting services to enhance and finish customer-made quilt tops. Each project is treated with care, precision, and respect for the customer’s creative work.

2. Booking and Deposits

-
A 25% for edge-to-edge and 50% for semi-custom and custom quilting non-refundable deposit (minimum $50) is required to secure your place in the quilting schedule.
-
The remaining balance is due upon completion and before your quilt is shipped or picked up.
-
Bookings are confirmed once both the deposit and signed intake form (if required) are received.

3. Cancellations and Refunds
-
If you cancel before work begins, the deposit will be retained, but any additional payments will be refunded.
-
If you cancel after quilting has started, the quilting work will stop, no refund will be issued, as time and materials have been committed to your project. Your quilt will be returned in the state of completion at time quilting stops.
-
Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with approved patterns, thread colors, or design choices.
-
(See our full [Refund Policy] for more details.)

4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the best results, please:
-
Press and square your quilt top and backing before delivery.
-
Remove all pins, embellishments, and loose threads.
-
Ensure seams are secure and that the quilt is free of pet hair and odors.
-
Provide backing and batting at least 4 inches larger than the quilt top on all sides.
-
Additional prep work may incur an extra charge.
5. Design Approval
All quilting designs, thread colors, and density levels will be discussed and approved before work begins. Once approved, these choices are final and cannot be changed mid-project. This is because to make such changes would require undoing stitches performed.
6. Workmanship and Limitations

-
I strive for quality in every quilt.
-
Minor variations or imperfections are normal in free-motion and computerized quilting and are not considered defects.
-
If you discover a clear workmanship issue (e.g., thread tension, skipped stitches, or pattern error), contact me within 7 days of receiving your quilt to arrange a review or repair.

7. Customer-Provided Materials
Little Apple Quilts is not responsible for damage due to:
-
Weak seams, thin fabrics, or pre-existing flaws.
-
Inconsistent or bias edges in the quilt top or backing.
-
Fabrics that bleed or shrink after quilting.
8. Shipping and Delivery

-
Customers are responsible for shipping costs to my home-based business both ways unless otherwise stated.
-
Please use insured, trackable shipping methods; Little Apple Quilts is not responsible for quilts lost or damaged in transit. Even though your packaging will offer some level of material protection, I recommend wrapping the quilt in plastic to further protect it before shipping.
-
Quilts will not be shipped until final payment is received in full.

9. Turnaround Time

Estimated completion times vary by season and workload. I strive to meet all stated timelines but cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. Customers will be notified promptly of any delays.
10. Payment and Ownership

-
Accepted payment methods include [debit card, credit card, and venmo].
-
Quilts not paid for within 60 days of completion may be considered abandoned.
11. Photos and Portfolio Use

By submitting your quilt for service, you grant Little Apple Quilts permission to photograph the quilt for marketing, social media, or portfolio use.

If you prefer not to have your quilt photographed, please indicate this at drop-off or in writing before quilting begins.

12. Liability Disclaimer

While every precaution is taken to protect your quilt, Little Apple Quilts cannot be held liable for:
-
Loss or damage caused by unforeseen circumstances such as shipping errors, accidents, or natural disasters.
-
Color bleeding, fabric defects, or issues resulting from materials supplied by the customer.
